	Name: Dr. Pamela Isley Alias: Poison Ivy Gender: Female Age and date of birth: 30/ September 3, 1970 Species: Human Sexuality: Bi-sexual Fandom: Batman PB: Tori Amos From what time in canon is your character from? 2000 Complete Character Description: Pamela, or Ivy as she often prefers to be called, stands at 5ft6 and weighs 133lbs with brilliant green eyes and long, curly red hair. The most distinctive feature about Ivy has to be her skin tone which, thanks to her blood being replaced by chlorophyll due to an experiment, often changes shade. When Ivy is indoors for long periods of time or not getting a lot of sun, she is often very pale. On the flip side, when Ivy is getting a lot of sun her skin takes on a greenish tinge and if she were to get a sunburn she would appear to be very green indeed! Other side effects of Ivy's experiment is her ability to release and control pheromones as well as her ability to control plants. As such she often has some form of plant life on her and when acting as Poison Ivy often decks herself completely in clothes made from plant leaves. When the situation calls for proper attire, Ivy will were so called normal clothes but takes pains to only wear environmentally friendly clothing.
Personality: Pamela started out life as a very quiet, very meek individual. What one might call a shrinking violet. From an early age she was obsessed with plants and very environmentally conscious so it was no surprise to anyone when she went off to University and doctored in Botany. While Pamela was very intelligent she use to be very naive and because of that she was experimented on by Dr. Jason Woodrue. The experiment not only changed her physically but it caused a change to her personality as well. Pamela became colder and mistrustful of others. She also went a little off the deep end when she leaned she couldn't have children and began to mother plants like they were her own children, becoming homicidally protective of all plant life in the process. A cruel, cunning streak developed within the woman as well as she learned to use her physical attributes to get what she wanted by seducing men and administrating her poisoned kiss. Still somewhat quiet and misanthropic, Ivy doesn't care for people and has often expressed the belief that the world would be better off ruled by plants. The only person she seems to have any feelings for is her good friend Harley Quinn and she has shown compassion for children. Has a somewhat dry sense of humor and enjoys the finer things in life.
	Weaknesses: Her cold and callous attitude toward humanity can/will turn people away from the poisoned woman. Her obsession with plants and Batman often causes Ivy to take risky chances and put herself in danger. Being completely deprived of sunlight and water could effectively kill her, as could being shot, burned or stabbed. Harley is a bit of a weakness for Ivy as well as she will often do anything for her friend and the blond jester is immune to Ivy's poisons. Women are also immune to Ivy's phermones. Strengths: Thanks to the experiment preformed by Dr. Woodrue, Ivy's blood was replaced with poisonous toxins and chlorophyll, giving the red head Chlorokinesis, Toxikinesis, immunity to poisons, enhanced strength, and the ability to control Pheromones. As an intelligent doctor, Ivy has in depth knowledge of biology, botany and toxicology. Her life as a criminal inspired Ivy to study martial arts and she has a small bit of talent in fighting. She is also quite agile and a very strong swimmer, as natural in the water as she is on land.
Backstory: Pamela Isley grew up as the only child of wealthy socialites who showed little interest in their shy daughter. She went through her childhood and adolescence without causing any trouble before going off to university to study Botany. She eventually graduated with her Ph.D but was seduced by her professor Dr. Jason Woodrue who convinced Pamela to help him with his studies. Woodrue injected Pamela with plant toxins, nearly killing her and bringing about her transformation to Poison Ivy. When the authorities come to take Woodrue away, he flees and Pamela is left in the hospital for six months and she tries to come to grips with the change. This proves to be too much for the young woman who suffers from violent mood swings and learns she can control plants with her mind. She soon leaves the hospital to begin a life of crime. Her first act was to threaten Gotham with suffocating spores but Batman thwarted her and Ivy was sent to Arkham Asylum for the first time. It was then she developed her love/hate relationship with Batman, being attracted to him but frustrated when he thwarted her crimes and turned down her advances. The green-skinned criminal was originally only interested in committing crimes in order to fund her dreams of securing a isolated location so she could be alone with her plants. She managed to achieve this goal at one point by escaping from Arkham and fleeing to a desert island in the Caribbean where she used her powers to create a second Eden for herself. Unfortunately her island would be firebombed by an American Corporation testing their weapons and Ivy returns to Gotham to seek vengeance. Again she is thwarted by Batman but decides to stay in Gotham in order to protect the plants within the city and plans to 'purify' the city by eventually causing the plants to take back the city. Ivy returns to her criminal activities to fund her new plans and eventually ends up meeting Harley Quinn, the Joker's mistress/partner in crime and forms a fast friendship with the woman. She cares so much for Harley that she later gives Harley an injection that will make her immune to all poisons and toxins. It also gives Harley the ability to touch Ivy without risk of being poisoned. Together, Ivy and Harley formed a great team up, pulling off many successful capers but nothing good lasts forever and eventually Harley went back to the Joker but the pair still remain close friends, occasionally teaming up.
	Likes: Plants, flowers, sunny days, fresh water, the environment, Harley, Batman, sex, sumer, spring causing trouble, children. Dislikes: Pollution, lawn mowers, manicured gardens, Batman, The Joker, abusive men, boring people, winter and fall. Talents and Hobbies: Gardening and Ivy has quite the green thumb....literally.
